                        Joe and I were also at the meeting you refer to and 
it appears you don't know when to stop and change your tactics. IF the new 
membership issue is indeed your concern {specifically young members} you need to 
volunteer to become the "new young
membership" recruiter. As someone has stated no young people would even know 
about this railroad if it wasn't for either their older male relatives or 
friends, unless they are a history buffs. How do people join the historical 
society? Isn't it normally by personal contact??? 
                         Have you actually brought anybody into the society 
yourself, and how hard was that???? Volunteer as the recruitment zsar and see 
for yourself before you take everybody to task for not doing things your way.
