Thanks to all that responded to my questions. I will add that the O-Scale article was in Model Railroader - August 1975. The author was E. Deimling. There is also a set of drawings in Train Shed Cyclopedia NO. 5. However the cars were apparently very elusive as I have rarely seen any phots other than the builders photos.
The responeses on contents helped me.
