RE: (erielack) Erie Wyoming Division



I agree with Schuyler & Greg's comments.  Tuesday night I spent hours
looking through the links/maps of the area.  I even used the Terraserver
that Vince Lee gave me as an additional link.  Using these tools I could
zero in on the family farm and even view the aerial photos, with enough
clarity to see the house, both barns, and small outbuildings.

I knew and used this website a few yrears ago but lost it and couldn't
recall it's title.

Now that I've got my bearings I'll trace the right-of-way from Hawley
west to Scranton.

One item that came to light in this thread was the actual date of
abandonment.  I was a bit too young to know, but I thought it was
earlier than the early 1970s.
