(erielack) Free Weekend Rides to NYC/HOB from Ramsey..... Press Release

NJ Transit Freebie follows:

Imagine spending a fun filled weekend this holiday season in Midtown
Manhattan without ever worrying about fighting traffic, paying tolls or
finding parking. Now imagine that you could do it for free.

On weekends now through January 16, NJ TRANSIT is offering free rail
transportation to New York or Hoboken and free parking to customers who
travel from the new Ramsey Route 17 station. "With this offer, there's
never been a better time for residents of northern Bergen County to see
for themselves just how convenient and comfortable getting into and out of
New York can be aboard NJ TRANSIT," said Lynn Bowersox, Assistant
Executive Director for Marketing and External Affairs.

The Ramsey Route 17 FREE-FOR-ALL offer, which begins Saturday and
continues weekends through January 16, 2005, enables up to two adults and
two children to ride free when presenting a Winter Weekend pass for travel
to New York Penn Station or Hoboken Terminal. The pass is also valid for
a free return trip on the same day. Even free parking is included at the
Ramsey Route 17 station's 1,200-space secured parking deck.

To obtain a Winter Weekend FREE-FOR-ALL Pass, customers should visit
www.njtransit.com, click on "Deals and Destination," and select "Get a
FREE Ride from our Ramsey Route 17 Rail Station."

Simply print out the Winter Weekend FREE-FOR-ALL Pass and present it
aboard the train to receive free rail transportation between Ramsey Route
17 and Hoboken or New York. (Customers traveling to New York will be
required to show the pass when passing through the fare gates at Secaucus
Junction.) For free weekend parking, customers simply validate the ticket
they received upon entering the garage at a pay station located within the
facility. Although no payment is required, customers must have a
validated parking ticket to exit. This offer is only valid for free
transportation from Ramsey Route 17 for two adults and two children and
may not be used on any other NJ TRANSIT service.

Conveniently located on one of Bergen County's busiest highways, the
Ramsey Route 17 Station is easily accessible from Rockland, Orange and
northern Bergen counties. Frequent, direct rail service is available to
Hoboken Terminal, and convenient connecting service to New York is
available at Secaucus Junction.
