RE: (erielack) FW: Flooding at Del Water Gap station



One detour the DL&W did use in 1955 and probably could have before that
was running trains down to Phillipsburg and then on to the LV to the
Scranton area.

Don't know for sure, there's only one DLW route between Slateford Jct
and
Scranton.  Given the flood, it would be a good idea to have it on higher
ground.
