Here's how the bridge looked yesterday.

The south approach is progressing well.  The north approach is behind but
catching up.  The span over the Rockaway River and its north support
columns are gone, leaving just the span over the railroad and its support
columns.  Catenary wire is suspended from insulators attached to the
bridge.  New catenary supports (of the current style) have been built but
the wire is not attached.
