Tim,

I believe you're correct.  It would have been land-locked had it not had at
least a close relationship with the DL&W.

I thought the Hopatcong Railroad was a Lackawanna property.  It ran from
Hopatcong station over to the powder works plant where the Nixon Elementary
Scoll is today.
