(erielack) Erie covered hoppers



The Erie 2 bay covered hoppers were not PS clones, they were ACF built cars.
The photo that Paul uploaded is the A end 3/4 view Builders Photo the B end
3/4 view builders photo appears on page 251 of Kaminski's "American car &
Foundry Company" 1899-1999 book.  They were painted black with white stencil
paste lettering when built and carried that scheme throughout their service
lives on the Erie.
