Re: (erielack) Norwich map, circa 1976



Nice map Art, thanks for sharing it. I've been to Norwich quite a few times.
There's one thing I've always found interesting. Many towns have a Railroad
Avenue or Street. Norwich went much better by having a Lackawanna Avenue and
a Midland Avenue. Also a West Midland Avenue. These last two streets encase
the old NYOW right of way. As if that weren't enough, there's also a
Division Street, Delaware Square North, Delaware Square South, Midland
Drive, Lackawanna Lane, Lackawanna Place,  and even the Lackawanna Avenue
Extension.  That's surely a town proud of it's rail history. Todd
