Supposedly the DL&W sold this car to the Boston & Maine sometime in the
1930's. The car has DL&W cast into its trucks. Can anyone give more detail
about it in Lackawanna days and confirm the B&M bought it?

Interesting -- didn't know this car existed. B&M bought a lot of equipment
from DL&W, including four-pocket coal hoppers, four freight 4-6-2s and a
number of passenger cars, as previously mentioned. These were the pre-Boonton
Line suburban coaches and combines, the 1911-era batches that had open
vestibules but no collision posts. A coach and combine from this B&M batch were at
Edaville, sold off with the rest of that collection in the later 1990s.

Great find. ....Mike Del Vecchio
