Re: (erielack) Pheobe Snow Footage

The following is what's been circulating about the origin of those films. This is a quote.?

>>>> "These are actual 16mm home movies films made by the Late Robert G. Sage, SR. of Reading, PA. Who worked for the a railroad as a track inspector. I was told by his Nephew.? There were 12 Reels of movies from the late 1940's through the 50's. I bought these 16mm Films at a yard sale last year. They were selling off his Railroad Junk they called it. I bought other stuff too."<<<<

Let's hope the rest finds it way onto youtube.

Hi group. There's some brief footage on youtube at the moment of the Pheobe Snow
from NJ to Cresco, Pa. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrOHCwodHu4&feature=channel.
Has anyone seen this footage in another
commercially available production? Another person said they did, and tend to
think they are right. The original
footage was shot on 16mm film (i had to correct the poster, as he had it listed
as Super 8mm film) and before the
EL merger. I'd say the footage was shot sometime in the mid to late 50's, but
please correct me if I am wrong.
