Re: (erielack) Pheobe Snow Footage

I know Len's reputation all too well, hence the reason I ask if anyone has seen this footage in another production somewhere.

When it was first posted to Youtube, he listed it as Super 8mm (or in his words Supper 8) film footage. I corrected him in a comment and asked where he acquired the footage from. He responded defensively and insisted they were Super 8mm films he bought at a yard sale. I responded back these couldn't be Super 8, since Super 8mm film wasn't introduced by Kodak until 1965 and we all know this footage was obviously shot BEFORE 1965. It couldn't even be 8mm since the footage is too detailed to be 8mm film. Len promptly deleted my comments, blocked my youtube name and THEN he revised his description to indicate they were 16mm films.

I suspect this and the other footage he is currently posting is from?a commercial production as the film transfer is waaay too good to be a "DIY" transfer. Just look at the "Reading Ramble" footage he posted, in which HE did the film transfer, the difference in transfer quality is QUITE clear.

Either way, it's nice to get a glimpse of it before it is taken off Youtube - it's only a matter of time.

The poster goes by the names "Schuylkill Valley" or "Len". Unfortunately he has
a reputation of pilfering stuff and claiming it as his own or that "he found
it". I hope it's not a copyright infringement but his past cases say otherwise.

The following is what's been circulating about the origin of those films. This
is a quote.?

>>>> "These are actual 16mm home movies films made by the Late Robert G. Sage,
SR. of Reading, PA. Who worked for the a railroad as a track inspector. I was
told by his Nephew.? There were 12 Reels of movies from the late 1940's through
the 50's. I bought these 16mm Films at a yard sale last year. They were selling
off his Railroad Junk they called it. I bought other stuff too."<<<<

Let's hope the rest finds it way onto youtube.
