Another Way to Handle Off Topic or other Catagories of topics than pure EL History  would be to label them in the Subject line  
Example  OT Kodak says goodbye to Kodachrome or RP (for Rail/transit Politics) NJ Cutoff Enviromenntal
and such as that.........
