Yes, I think when the D&H got ahold of a large number of 
ex-Reading 50-ft boxcars with the large billboard READING
across the upper part of the side, they just painted the 
upper half of the side yellow and then stenciled the new
D&H reporting mark.  I never thought about it before
(because the Rutland went under before I was born I think)
but that interim scheme had a strong resemblance to
the old Rutland, didn't it?
