Isn't this caption  misleading?   Aren't we looking north or east  here.

The  LV Mountain Cut off is swinging off to the right on it's climb  out of 
 the

valley?   Strait would be to Avoca Yard?

The photo  labeled B34 F23 is  looking south along the tracks of the Erie

Railroad and  Lehigh  Valley Railroad towards the grade crossings on Foote

Avenue in   Duryea.
