Re: (erielack) DL&W Interlocking - Winton Branch
Thanks Bill.
My reference is a 1924 Scranton Division ETT.
Could it be that the DL&W referred to the entire loop as
"The
Winton Branch" ?
Cheers,
Jim

Jim & List,
Went through the DL&W List of Officers, Agents, Stations,
Equipment, Facilities, Etc. as of June, 1925 and could not
find any reference to this particular interlocking plant,
much
less any telegraph call letters.
Back then, DL&W did have a small (8-lever),
trainmen-operated
interlocking plant where the NYO&W crossed the Keyser Valley
Branch. NYO&W operated and maintained a 12-lever
interlocking
plant where the NYO&W crossed the Diamond Branch in
Scranton.

Subject: (erielack) DL&W Interlocking - Winton Branch
While looking at a 1924 ETT to see if I could find an answer
to this question:
>Does anyone know what letters were assigned to this tower?
>I couldn't find any mention of it in Taber.
I notice there's a special instruction regarding an
interlocking at the crossing of the Winton Branch with the
NYO&W.
I presume this would be Riverside Jct., (which would
actually be NYS&W track).
Does anyone have a T&S diagram of this interlocking?
Many thanks!
