At least we found an Erie Lackawanna Badge! For you Westender's "Just like all the other Chicago-area law enforcement agencies, the Erie Lackawanna Railway Police wore a star for that "Illinois look", complete with an Illinois State Seal."

The uniforms were, as I thought at the time, sharp looking. From what I
remember the pants had a long wide stripe down the side. although the color
escapes me as does the color of the uniform shirt. I seem to recall
maroon being in there somewhere. I do remember that each officer carried a
full gun belt with a covered metal whistle (I guess for cold weather)
