Here's a shot of Buffalo's DL&W Michigan Ave Tower in the 1940's.

The tower and the DL&W Terminal's powerhouse were an integrated structure.

Note the lettering on the through girder bridge.

The fireboat W.S. Grattan later became the Edward M. Cotter and survives to
this day, not sure where.

The baggage car is on the Terminal end of the train, the shadows and tree
branches tell me it is sometime mid-afternoon. My guess is that this train has
recently arrived and a switcher has pulled it off the power, respotted it and
head end frieght is being unloaded before the train is turned and serviced.
The Bush canopies are beyond the baggage car to the left. What train would
this be?
