I should have mentioned that I also have Atlas phase IIa PRR U25B's in both
Atlas/Kato and Atlas/China versions. Here's the Atlas/China phase IIa PRR
version with the Atlas/China phase IIb EL model. Note the basic difference is
that IIa had 4 tall hood doors behind the eight power assembly hood doors
while IIb had 4 shorter doors with an added roof hatch on the fireman's side
over the rearward two short doors. Those are the only external spotting
differences of which I am aware.

Bear in mind that phases are more of a railfan thing and loco builders were
always making running changes that could cross "phases" and some railroads
would order specific features that were usually accepted as being part of
earlier phases, like PRR with small number boards on some of their F7's.

P.S. I also have at least two HO Stewart EL U25B's that I no longer use that
are in excellent shape that I would be willing to sell as soon as I dig them
out of my HO equipment "archives." I believe they are in their original
boxes, but I am not 100% sure about that. I haven't looked at them in over 5
years!
