Can anyone verify that this photo is Hoboken?

I woulod say yes, by the looks of the fence and the overhead catenary, but I
can't comment on the visible passenger car details.

To whom it may concern.

I would be very grateful if someone could identify this photograhp as being
of
an American Train, apparently taken in October 1940 at Hobeken, New Jersey,
USA. I live in Oxford, England and as I was walking past a book shop I saw
a
picture of someone who looks identical to my Grandfather. I contacted the
publishers and this is the information I was given, which would be extremely
dissapointing as my Grandfather was British and never went to America, but
was
on his way to the Middle East in 1940!

I hope that someone can put my mind at rest either way.
