Subject: DS Report 9/13/72
image/jpeg, 1500x2064 (24bit)

Today's report for Wed 9/13 is full of ??'s. I'm not even sure of the day,
as the 3 may be over-written by 4, which wd make it Thursday (my next sheet
is Fri 9/15, so one is MIA for the week). Perhaps Steve can confirm the day
by examining power movements.

2nd Question: #30/#31: never saw these symbols before, are they as-needed
trains? They're planning the power 2-3 days in advance, which also seems
odd.

61 is supposed to pickup the 2519 at sb (where is sb?). Lead unit of PN-98
is carrying material to repair the 2519 on the road prior to arrival of 61.
"DO shop" is at Brier Hill I think.

TC-100: will dp 80" late. Why is the crew cod nearly 3 hr prior to
anticipated departure? If the train is to have cars added, the yard crew
will perform, correct? This raises another issue: It appears the p/u s/o
work is mentioned only for some trains, not all.

HFPO-98: I assume this train originated RN; one of the consist sheets had an
HFPN-98 orig GN. Runs with 19 Q, 57 PO; where is Q?

NY-100: running OT

SFE-100: running 90" AOS, arriving with 63 PO and CX from GN, to p/u 16 PO,
2 Mahwah, 2 CX TOFC.

2/NY-100: running about 1 hr AOS with a boomer D&H SD45.

CBPB-100: combined NYCB and PB-100 is still a modest 44 car train, is
running 2 hr late by CB schedule and a whopping 8 hr late by PB. Arrival
Boston 2nd evening rather than 2nd morning, adding a full day to delivery.

PN-98: having trouble with the 2461 which is carrying parts for the 2519 at
SB. The best laid plans of mice and men.The parts can't be very large, I'm
guessing some electrical components. GN CTD has been asked to ensure the
parts get to SB if the 2461 must be s/o. At bottom of page, we see how this
plays out, I'm sure Steve will explain.

PO-98: marked at 1200, I assume at GN. "Maybe a(t) GN-HF Xtra later", then a
list of trains at GN incl NE-72 typo (shd be NE-74), "when they get one made
up?", not sure what he means, is he referring to the maybe Xtra?

Here is the WB parade:

TC-99: OT, no work apparently

NY-99: 90" AOS despite big train

CBW (SLCB): usually runs ahead of 99, it's due out of HF 25" late

SC-99: OT and running thru to GN today. To p/u 3 dimensionals at Sterling,
presumably off B&O, with rider

PB-99: appears to be AOS (due HF at 1715. Lead unit "no water showing in
glass", but is not taken off anyway, "ok PC". Can you explain, Steve?

CX-99: big 63 car train, dp V EOT.

NY-97: follows 99 out of V so is sl behind schedule, usually precedes CX-99
all the way to HF. Is to p/u 20 GN's at UK incl an H&W, again, possibly off
B&O. Due to that will have to operate at restricted speed, and via 2nd
district (aka 2nd sub, Y'town bypass). We are beginning to see the
downgrading of this hotshot. Has 7 MW racks and 2 HF on rear, probably
forwarder boxes for CD.

PO-87, NE-97 at PO, looks like 97 will be dp about 2 hr late.
