Turnover for Wed 9/20:

TC-99: Dp HF 90" AOS

SC-99: Ar HF 2.5hr AOS and running thru to GN. So far in our review, only one SC-99 (9/11/72 sheet) actually terminated at HF

NY-99: Big train, 40" AOS at HF

CBW: right behind him and 40" late. Consistently runs behind 99 despite being scheduled out of CX an hour ahead. Must be due to
Bingo pickup

PB-99: nearly 2 hr AOS at HF

CX-99: big 66 car train 45" AOS at V

NY-97: 45" behind schedule at V. Blocked for 10 Jamestowns, 9 GN racks for N&W and L&N, 4 Cleveland pigs, 33 other GN's and 2 CX??
Obviously not Croxton, but where?

PO-87: single SD45

NE-97: another trio of BN SD45's, came thru early this morning on 1st trick. Unlike yesterday's set, turned at PO on 97 instead of
CX on 99. Dp PO at least 2.5 hr late, but will make up some time with 10,800 hp and mostly empties.

EB rush:

PB-100: 25" AOS Dp HF

TC-100: nearly 2 hr late Dp HF with 48 B&M and 24 Bingo's

NY-100: 1410 SN (Leavittsburg) indicates at least 2 hr late. Plenty of power but GP must refuel while the rear end is attended to;
Steve, would they top off the SDP's while they're at it, in case quick turnaround at CX?

SFE-100: Dp GN 2 hr late, to p/u Mahwah hy-cubes at Akron

2/NY-100: probably AOS at GN, no fuel at HF due to SDP and U33C

CBE (NYCB): I estimate about 30" late at GN with short train including 3 "DH"-most likely Bostons, and 17 CX

PN-98: interesting because haven't seen breakdown previously: Dp GN more or less OT with 2 Bingo reefers, 15 RA (Elmira, I think he
meant GA Gang Mills), 12 Taylor (CNJ, traditional DLW interchange with CNJ but old routing conventions die slowly.physical
interchange has been Lake Jct NJ since 1/72, I'm surprised only 12) 29 Scrantons and 15 Readings for Rupert PA interchange

Steve Timko remarks:

First Paul's remarks-----

NY-97--probably a typo on the 2 CX. Most likely to CD (Cleveland).

NY-100 -- yes, probably would fuel to capacity at HF.

PN-98 often carried RA (Elmira) cars for actual set off at RA.

Review of Turnover---

Recall the rush of moving empty hoppers to Cleveland and North Randall the past few days. Conductor (Bill) Stoughton is running lwc
from BR to SP for 110 Campbell Works ore. That goes to P&LE who delivers it to Campbell Works.

Another SP Turn to run with hoppers, back with 70 CWKS.

Drag to call from Cleveland with 15 CWKS from the Avenue (East 55th St) probably moved to Avenue by yard crew from River Bed and
goes to East 93th Street and Aetna Road and gets 43 Z (Haselton Fce) ore from #3 Newburg. It looks like a boat stopped at the River
Terminal dock and lightened the load by unloading 3000 ton of ore before going to another dock. Frequently happened.

Another CD crew to order from CD with two 3300"s and 106 Z from #2 Newburg, #2 CA and 1CA. Back with empty hoppers.

Steamer Goebel working at River Terminal dock. Cars move RT to N&SS. Come to EL at Aetna Yard at E93rd St. Will make 170 WA Ore.
Next boat at EL Dock--_Steamer Weiss 2300 hrs tomorrow.

CM-2 power --2509 wants to be headed east so 2585 can be used on #38 tomorrow. #38 is Meadville to Jamestown wayfreight. All local
(wayfreight) units on the Mahoning Division are facing West EXCEPT the XN Switch engine. That RS3 faces east for visibility issues
in Greenville Steel Car Co.

XN Turn working from BR at 1800 with A-B-B-A set of F's. Will need a STA (Short Turn Around) to go to Ferrona and/or RO Yard and
return with ore empties from Sharon Steel.

Here's an interesting move---Train 93 picking up 70 empty EL gold stripe hoppers from Mosier Yard and setting off at AD Siding, west
of SN. (No details but I assume that there is storage ore moving out of the Ravenna Arsenal--we may find out more in a day or so.)

NY97--looks like he has a Croxton (CX) car in the train..............(??)

Third Sub Work train from HF, 2462. If not needed tomorrow, work to JU to go to 260/261 (Ferrona-New Castle Wayfreight).

NY100 will fuel at HF while yard crew works the head end of train---7 HF off, 10 CX on.

92 works at SN (Leavittsburg) and has a HOR (Haul on rear) on the rear end for XN (Shenango)

2nd NY100--while it says power thru, no fuel--it will certainly take fuel at UK. Same with CBE.

RS3 #1044 failed on train #260 at New Castle and crew taxi to Ferrona. Unit on main--won't start. Notice that P&LE was notified.
P&LE has trackage rights on New Castle Branch to Ferrona and runs turn from McKees Rocks to Sharon and return about three or four
days a week.

Busy day on the first-subdivision.
