Rich, you're correct. I had only found the old postcard view of Binghamton
on-line and thought the windows were a good match, but the building doesn't
match in other places once I look at my own postcard (used in 1913) of that
station. The awnings would block the view of the lettering and it's too
small also.

X4875 isn't 140 Cedar St / 90 West St, the Cass Gilbert WEST STREET
BUILDING, because the windows clearly do not match the Steamtown photo.

I went through my "Miss Phoebe Snow's Virtual Tour of the Delaware,
Lackawanna & Western Railroad" postcard collection and am pretty sure X4875
is BUFFALO. I attached a postcard mailed in 1916. It has plenty of the
right windows in the section of the building that was offices.
