Subject: (erielack) Last Years of Milk Service on the EL

Today I found an interesting bit of information regarding the last few years of milk service on the EL; the Syracuse Branch in particular. I've long known that milk service out of Sealtest (formerly Sheffield) in Homer ended on May 13, 1966 via trailer on flat car but didn't know when it started. Per the local paper, it started a few years before on April 20, 1962. Some remaining questions about the TOFC era:

What reporting marks did the flats have? Any supporting info to list exact cars?
The only photos I have ever seen on the flats/trailers are in the Homer/Cortland area- is there nothing else?
Was there a mix of traditional reefers/flats or did it switch cold turkey?

Best,

Joshua
