Both the Erie and DL&W GP7s that were DB-equipped used a 36" DB fan (same size as the radiator fans).

Here are two photos that show the fan sizes: The 1270 shot is a former DL&W GP7, photo by JJ Young, Jr. The 1220 shot (slipping down the hillside just east of the Neversink River bridge in Port Jervis) is a former Erie unit. You can see in both photos the DB fans (center fan on the roof) is the same size as the others - 36"
