List,

I believe the wrecker to be DL&W 95916. (see attached photo) This crane was
delivered to the DL&W sometime in 1927 by Bucyrus. Since the photo is circa
1927, this could explain the lack of markings on the crane. However, the
paint on the crane does not look new, but the quality of the photo may
contribute to this effect. The crane does not show dents or wear, except
that the weight markings on the side frame appears a little worn. The
attached photo is the only one I ever turned up of #95916. This crane was
assigned to Hoboken most of its life and I believe the photos to be in
Hoboken. The vertical photo shows the crane to be part of a wreck train, and
it was pulled out just for the photo. Since there is no apparent damage as a
reason for the photo, perhaps it was just photographed to add it to the
files. In its latter life, #95916 wore more identifying paint than other
DL&W crane.

Sorry to end the year on a low note, but I can't ID the location on any of
these. Looking at the background and the lack of markings on the crane, I"m
wondering if the crane photo's might be on another RR?
