The Pemberton Township Historic Trust has already restored much of this
station and the 2.5 mile rail trail.  The property adjacent to the station
with all the original foundations is being fought over because the Township
wants to put in a Super Wawa .  All those 100 year old plus foundations will
end up in a landfill somewhere so people can get cheap gas.  We have to
money to start restoration immediately.  The property has been abandoned for
years but as soon as we started to go ahead with the restoration project,
they came down on our heads.  We have also restored the original Section
House on its original foundation.
