On Thursday afternoon, NS Suffern day job H55 was working at Birch Lumber, I wonder if they were handling the car John is referring to?

My Jan 2004 ORER, in the listing for Norfolk Southern, shows 14 gons still with EL reporting marks 4 in the 435xx series, 10 in the 436xx series.

It also lists one 66' flatcar no. 7601
6 hoppers in the 33xxx series
1 50 ft box 692xx series

Total of 22 EL-marked cars on NS.

If anyone knows what number series any ex EL equipment has in Conrail, NS or CSX renumberings, let me know and I can look them up.
