RE: (erielack) New Athearn GP-35 in EL GMY

The nice thing for we HO scale modelers is that there is photo evidence on
George's site of 2556 going all the way into Conrail with the maroon
lettering and a photo as late as 11/73 of 2561 with the maroon lettering.
Later photo from 6/76 shows 2561 with the lettering in the band.  Begs the
question for those that might wish to purchase more than two models and do
some renumbering  - on a unit-by-unit basis, how long did the maroon
lettering last on engines from the 1st order?
