That's just not true. I reviewed the majordomo log, there's not one attempt
to unsubscribe from dfargo5133_@_tbscc.com, but it plainly shows the
subscription request last month from that address. In addition the server's
mail log shows only 2 emails from that address in the past 8 days, both posts
to this list and included in this reply.

That is NOT a request to unsubscribe, it is an indication of future
intentions. No evidence of acting on that statement is visible in any logs or
was received in my email. I can't speak for Paul, but he's never failed to
honor any reasonable request from anyone in my memory.

The instructions for subscribing and unsubscribing are at
http://lists.railfan.net and I heartily urge anyone who has no tolerance for
what's important to others, no matter how thinly related to the EL, to avail
themselves of that information.

Keep in mind that this is not a designated "Politically Correct" area where
one, two or five intolerant people can call the shots for everyone on the 
list. There have been far too many occasions where Paul has been bullied into
playing list topic cop because one or a few people decided to be a squeaky
wheel. I don't have an interest in a lot of the topics which come up on this
list, but it's no big deal to hit the DELETE key and I'm happy that there are
folks who enjoy the topics which I don't. If 10 or 15 people out of the 475 or
so subscribers want to discuss a topic which is related to the EL, past or
present, in any way whatsoever, I'm happy for them to be able to discuss it.

Paul or I will happily unsubscribe anyone who can't figure out how to
unsubscribe after viewing that page.

dfargo5133_@_tbscc.com has already been unsubscribed.

As for the people who infer that anyone is trying over the ELHS in some kind
of power play, you have not paid attention, don't understand the original 
proposal or are politically motivated in your statements. You're dead wrong.
