RE: (erielack) Southern Tier lease

Folks,

My theory: Since the NYS&W is now owned 90% by NS+CSX, DO is using
its old Central New York RR subsidiary to be the agent to lease the Southern
Tier. Of course, I have no idea if the CNY mentioned in the release is the
same CNY that DO operated in upstate NY many years ago, but it seems to fit,
doesn’t it? I also find it interesting that the press release felt the need
to mention the CNY's President's name, something that really bears no
relevance on the operation of the line. Doing a Google search on his name
brings up absolutely nothing (and you’d think that someone who is president
of a corporation should have at least one mention somewhere, wouldn't you?)
- - I did find one possible link that might be relevant:

	http://www.ny-capital-area-industrial-property.com/

I think DO would do something like this so that it can solely
operate a freight line on its own, away from NS+CSX involvement. Just my
thoughts... I guess we'll see what happens in the future...

	- Paul
