RE: (erielack) PPL Martins Creek power plant overview.. from website



Ok.  I got it now.  Thanks all.  I did not realize there was a second bridge
and always thought the plant was actually on the NJ side.  I always paid
more attention to the B&P side of things not the Rest of line into
Belvidere.

Now how many unit trains did this get a week?  I thought I remember reading
that with the conversion to gas it got cut in half but I do not remember
what half was.  

Currently the Portland plant gets 3 80-100 car trains a week.

Also who serviced this plant L&HR or the PRR?  What about in EL days when
they took over in Martins Creek and the Alpha work?  Was this all Penn
Central?  If EL what were the train numbers and routing.  Joel
