RE: (erielack) NJ/PA - Environmental Assessment for Lacka

And because had no subsidy is why NJDOT and PA did not see it worth saving. Many empty seats. May have allegedly been a long distance train but got semi-commuter status once it reached Scranton and offered much better equipment than the junk today. MARTZ, MCI D4500'buses have in addition to restrooms, reclining seats!!

No NJT equipment has this then the $75. Atlantic City trains.

Jerome, The Lake Cities was Not a Suburban train and there was no chance of Subsidy for it. how about comparing Apples to Apples and not Grapes to Watermelon! NJT has already started to Prepare for service to Andover on "The Cutoff" thats a Done Deal it will happen in 28-36 months... and NO those Trains WONT be Empty as Many Sussex county Residents are waiting for the opertunity including members of my extended family. When Gas goes to $6 a gallon before 2012 you will be eating the crow that was hit by the train.

That is where the money and travel is so they are not about to relay track for empty
trains which was why the EL operated the last and final train a few days past New Year's
Day 1970 on January 4Th.
