Some very good points Jim. I for one though am fortunate enough to also have 
a smaller railroad nearby too. The Finger Lakes Railway. No unit trains, but 
lots of boxcars, some gons, covered hoppers etc. Alot of the cars still 
sport paint schemes from previous owners too. FGLK also uses smaller locos 
which I find more interesting also. You want to know what the kicker is? The 
FGLK's eastern terminus is the old DLW/EL yard in Solvay NY!
