Re: (erielack) NJ customers "H"

Additional "H" customers:

Hoboken Burns Brothers Fuel (Coal) Co. open hoppers coal

Located off track three via a switch just west of the
old Grove Street tower, approx. MP .85

                            Cocheo Brothers Furniture box cars
lumber

This was a furniture company located near or next to
Tootsie Roll

                            Name unknown box cars unknown

This company's siding was an extension of the
Klondike track in Hoboken. It crossed Henderson St., and was adjacent to
track three at street level. IIRC, they were
getting cars up to the mid eighties.

Harrison Name unknown open hoppers coal

This was a small fuel company located at the west
end of the old Harrison yard, by the catenary track. They would get a hopper
or two, and load coal trucks right from the
hopper

Harrison Equipment box cars, flat cars
compressors, material handling equipment

This company was reached by a spur that ran from the west end of
Harrison Yard, across Essex St. in the vicinity of 5th St. Might have been
called Harrison Compressor. It is a gray building that is still standing.
