(erielack) If NS is Reading and Pittsburgh and West Virgina what does that make RDI and PW today? Erie Prototypes?
CNJ or Reading part of Conrail or NS? Not so fast, please. If you like the Reading you might like to read this. This also might make sense of the fact. Mr Grants Book was titled "ERIE-LACKAWANNA Death of a American Railroad, 1938-1992".....not 1976 when Conrail started.

Pittsburgh and West Virginia just changed their name to Power REIT....the ticker code is still PW. Reading is RDI

I don't know who CNJ industries is today....Triangle Industries?
Oh, I like the project. But I don't believe NS took over these companys. Since I have shares in some of them TODAY. I also still have my last EL check sent out in 1992 not 1976!

Well, a CNJ heritage unit is also missing..... So you are right in that i don't think that is the issue, since Reading is on the list!! Perhapsinstead of New Haven(ConnDOT uses the McGinnis scheme) then they can make thecase of a DL&W or CNJ unit!

Track or no track, DL&W is a predecessor railroad of NS, is it not?
