Re: (erielack) The lack of DL&W representation under the NS Heritage Schemes

Please forgive my ignorance, but where exactly is Paterson Junction? If
at the junction of the Erie Main Line east of the Paterson Market St.
station, the current main line through South Paterson is a rebuild of
the Erie Newark Branch. If it is at the point where the Erie Newark
Branch joined the Boonton Line east of the former South Paterson
station, then NS would operate on Lackawanna trackage to serve any
freight customers east from there to Croxton, plus to get to the Newark
Branch.

Are there many customers left on the Boonton Line east of Paterson?
