    Kearny                Frey & Trumble(sp?)        Box Cars 
Paper and/or Fiberglas base for roofing shingles


    This company, now called Frey, is located opposite Kopper's . In the EL 
days, during the construction season, they used to get ten to fifteen cars 
of rolled paper and/or fiberglass each week, as told to me by a former EL 
engineer. They stopped getting cars in the late eighties, and the switch was 
removed in the mid nineties, IIRC. Its possible they shipped shingles by 
rail.
