(rshsdepot) Preserving the Railroad System, an Overview of NH's Activities 1975-2000 & NH Railroad Map

Posted today to the NHRRA Web Site at http://www.trainweb.org/nhrra/:

* Preserving the Railroad System, an Overview of NH's Activities 1975-2000
* NH Railroad Map (1-29-2001)

Both of these documents have been prepared by the NH DOT Bureau of Rails &
Transit, and were distributed aboard Ray Burton's Railroad Train Ride of
10-27-01. The an earlier version of the first document was posted to the
NHRRA Web Site two years ago in Web Space that has recently been lost. Note
that the map was published as new part of the first document.

Note that the history reflects only the investment of State funds in the
railroad system (primarily state-owned railroad lines), while the map is a
typical bureaucratic view of the State's railroad system, showing only those
rails and dormant rights-of-way that are WITHIN the state's border,
surrounded by a great white void!

The financial streadsheets at the end of the first document have not been
posted YET since they aren't very interesting, and 'doing it right' will
take a great deal of time. :-(
