Folks,
I thought the DL&W modelers would like to see my NPP HO DL&W 4-6-4 which I
just got back from custom painting. The original model was extensively
re-detailed with CalScale and PSC castings, and a Soundtraxx DCC sound system was
installed. It was custom painted and weathered based on photos of No.1152
in the Morning Sun book, Lackawanna Railroad Trackside by Mike Del Vecchio
(photos by Henry Peterson).
Those of you familiar with the original NPP model, know how crude these
models were, besides not being mechanically very smooth.
Bill
Thanks for sharing. Can you tell us what exactly he did, and what motor
and detail parts were added?
