Please indulge my stretching of list content rules here: a while back, we
were discussing coal combustion (initially I think this was a DL&W steam
loco thread). Can one of you knowledgable chemists confirm or correct my
recollection that burning coal with limestone in a power plant produces
gypsonite as a byproduct, which is then sold for gypsum board etc?
