Re: (erielack) Re: EL Mail List Digest V3 #4108



There is a photo around showing a train on the Ithaca Branch leaving Owego 
with a DL&W stock car right behind the engine. I think this is a Herb Trice 
negative but Cal's Classics may have it. I saw one of those DL&W stock cars 
once that was assigned to anthracite serive. There were board nailed inside 
over the space between the slats. Seems these only covered the lower spaces 
and were painted same color as the car. So you would ahve to look very close 
to see the difference between it and a regluar stock car.

I had a negative of an Erie stock car in  taken in Binghamton. I sold the 
entire collection to an indivdual who I beleive laoned some of them to Bob's 
Photos. So a print might be available there.
